It forms a common interface to the various carriers and rating systems and connects to database servers such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle 8.x. DI Server's architecture can handle complex business rules and back-end processes, which it rapidly executes on a compiled basis. It requires few changes to existing ERP or WMS systems.
