EMCAT interfaces with handheld data collector

Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 12/1/2002

OLD SAYBROOK, CONN. — ALL-TEST Pro's EMCAT software integrates with the ALL-TEST IV Pro 2000 handheld fault finder and data collector for a total motor and transformer maintenance package. Combined, they offer testing and automatic analysis of transformers and AC/DC electric motors, including rotors.

The software incorporates trending, routing, scheduling of maintenance, work order management, review of equipment data by location or name and entering of data from other test technologies. It can be configured to interface with commercial CMMS packages and the U.S. Dept. of Energy software program MotorMaster Plus. This is the first line of testers and analytical software to use impedance-based technology.
