Louisville, Ky. —Indigo Olive Software added a new program to its IOS Briefcase and IOS Datamine for sales organizations. IOS Virtual Route is a tailored program for hand-held PC's.

It automates most aspects of delivery operations: truck check-in and checkout, routing of daily deliveries, customer manifest information, and change orders. Drivers can also process payments and returns, and special instructions are entered easily.

At the end of the day, drivers synchronize with home office applications for a complete, instant update into accounting and order processing functions. The software is intuitive and easy to use, will increase customer satisfaction and decrease costly errors, the company says.
