INDIANAPOLIS — The University of Industrial Distribution will be held October 20-23 at The University Place Conference Center and Hotel, Indianapolis, Ind.

UID is a management-level education program sponsored by 19 industry trade associations. The four-day program features over 20 courses taught by industry experts. In addition to focused instruction in the classroom, attendees get the chance to network with managers from a variety of commodity lines.

Over 4,000 industry professionals have attended the UID program, which began nine years ago.

UID students can apply their coursework towards the new Professional Certificate in Industrial Distribution, awarded by the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The UAB Professional Certificate recognizes a professional's achievements and commitment to continuing education.
