TouchVend reports transactions in real-time

Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 6/1/2002

Huntington Beach, Calif. — AutoCrib, Inc. released the TouchVend point-of-use dispensing station. TouchVend will be the primary device in AutoCrib's forthcoming Web-based ASP, AutoCrib.net. This will allow users the flexibility to use traditional PC-based applications or the Web, which wouldn't require a local PC to report transaction information to AutoCrib 4 in real-time.

TouchVend features a touchscreen user interface that provides more information than traditional keypad interfaces. The system can build kits on demand and search other vending units at the same facility for requested parts.

TouchVend can be run as a stand-alone system with the ASP or in connection with AutoCrib machines.
