Marion, Ohio — In conjunction with the release of its new Web technology-based e-business solution, e-Synergy, Exact Macola has changed its name to Exact Software North America. The company also welcomed Lisa Ganem as general manager of e-Synergy to spearhead its introduction.

The company said e-Synergy is a new Web-based solution that helps organizations enhance efficiency by giving more people access to more information — from the inside as well as from the outside.

e-Synergy complements Exact Macola's back office solution and integrates applications providing combined visibility throughout the organization. The traditional back-office functions found in Macola ES fully integrate with the front-office employee-, customer- and supplier-facing solution. Some of the unique components of e-Synergy include e-CRM, e-HRM, document management and project management. E-Synergy makes all the relevant information available at a moment's notice via a secure Internet connection to employees as well as customers and suppliers.
