PTDA elects officers

Atlanta— The Power Transmission Distributors Assn. elected its new officers, board of directors and allied council for 2002 during the group's annual convention, Oct. 4-6, in Atlanta. Patrick Frater, president of Northwest Power Products, was elected president; Carlos Ingram, vice president of business systems for Kaman Industrial Technologies, was elected first vice president; Don Latham, vice president of Canadian Bearings Ltd., was named second vice president; and Andy Nations, president of Bearings & Drives, Inc., was named treasurer.
Tim Murphy, manager, industrial belt marketing for The Gates Rubber Co., was elected allied chairman for 2002; and Barbara J. Ross, national account manager for Garlock Sealing Technologies, was named allied vice chair.
Board members include Tom Bohardt, Meier Transmission, Ltd.; Dennis Narduzzi, Power Industries, Inc.; John R. Neal, Root Neal & Co.; Stephen Philpott, Bearing Belt Chain Co., Inc.; Fernando Rojas, Rodamientos Rovi C.A.; and Helen Yost, The Rowland Co.
Allied Council members include Bill Demmel, TB Wood's Inc.; William Hoagland, Osborn International; James Humphrey, Diamond Chain Co.; Jim Lamb, Drives, Inc.; Robert Larsen, Cleveland Motion Controls, Inc.; Jerry Peerbolte, Baldor Electric Co.; and Charles F. Schwender, Sumitomo Machinery Corp. of America.
