Champaign, Ill.-E-business developer dChain Commerce opened its eMarketplace on a state-of-the-art, fault tolerant data center at Exodus Communications.
Using high-speed communications and 24x7 service for its mid-market customers, dChain says it provides premium Internet hosting at ASP [application service provider] prices. All eMarketplaces are hosted through Exodus Internet Data Centers, which boast high-speed connections and offering 99 percent uptime and reliability. The firm also utilizes multiple Dell servers and Cisco routers with connections through high-speed T1 and T3 lines.
"DChain's ASP model of delivery makes these services affordable for mid-sized companies by virtually eliminating all licensing and implementation costs," says Roberto Melo, dChain's CEO.
