Ariba enhances 'dynamic' trade solutions

Mountain View, Calif.-Ariba added capabilities for its e-marketplaces solutions that it says will change the way Internet business is done.

The latest versions of Ariba Dynamic Trade 2.0, Marketplace 7.2 and Ariba Marketplace, Network Edition 4.0 provide new online trading mechanisms, more customization and self-service capabilities for all marketplace types.

Upgrades to Dynamic Trade 2.0 include negotiations features that allow clients to include delivery time, location, product specs, as variables and run multi-variable negotiations. Features of Marketplace 7.2 include enabling market makers to customize their marketplace look, feel and functionality; a multi-attribute catalog that streamlines the procurement process and more.

Ariba Marketplace, Network Edition 4.0 enables marketplaces to deploy and scale quickly, with self-service options added, a network-based catalog management process and server, market-maker branding capabilities and more.
