Ariba and PSDI stengthen their ties

Lake Buena Vista, Fla.-PSDI joined Ariba's Partner Marketing Program as a platinum member, further strengthening the relationship between the two software firms.
PSDI, which provides solutions to streamline the supply chain for MRO materials, announced the move during its users conference in July. Ariba hopes to unite its B2B e-commerce platforms, brand awareness and marketing power with industry leaders to gain market share.
Earlier this summer the two companies forged a comprehensive business relationship that will enable buyers and suppliers using the PSDI MAXIMOrand MRO.com solutions to transact with buyers, marketplaces and suppliers on the AribarB2B Commerce Platform, and to use the value-added services of Ariba's Commerce Services Network.
PSDI CEO Chip Drapeau says the partner program is a way to "leverage the leading Ariba brand in B2B e-commerce and to promote the overall strength of MRO.com in the online industrial MRO market."
