NAW partners with TradeOut.com. The National Assn. of Wholesaler-Distributors formed a strategic alliance with TradOut.com to give wholesaler-distributors a new way to dispose of excess inventory using the Internet.TradeOut.com is an online marketplace for business-to-business, excess and obsolete inventory across a variety of product categories -- computers, apparel, food and beverage, health and beauty aids, consumer automotive, hardware, industrial and capital equipment.
"Our market research shows excess inventory is a major non-producing asset for thousands of wholesaler-distributors," Ron Schreibman, NAW's vice president-strategic distribution, said in a written statement. "TradeOut.com's broad reach and marketplace create totally new channels through which this inventory can move."
