STAFDA elects new officers and board members. The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Assn. announced new officers for 2000. Marc Beerman, president of Beerman Precision, New Orleans, La., was named president of the association and Jim Smith, president of Nail Fast, Albuquerque, N. Mex., was named vice president.

Four members were elected to STAFDA's board of directors: Charles Haller, president and owner of Charles Haller Enterprises, Syracuse, N.Y.; George Morgan, president and partner of Kentec, Inc., Lithonia, Ga.; Jim Henderson, president of Dynamic Sales Co., Inc. of St. Louis, Mo.; and Jason Bader, vice president of Acme Construction Supply Co., Portland, Oreg.
