Bolt-on safety retainer

By Industrial Distribution Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 2/1/2000

Bolt-on safety retainer decreases chipping hammer downtime; with the quick change design, accessory steel changes are made easy because the retainer stays mounted on the tool, locking firmly onto APT's 450 (4-bolt closed handle) and 650 (standard gooseneck handle) series chippers without the need for typical springs, which are often lost or need to be replaced due to wear; 6 case hardened steel balls provide 6 points of contact with the recommended round collar steel; durable retainer also holds oval collar steel accessories. American Pneumatic Tool CIRCLE NO. 223
