New ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA) hot melt added to line of Proform™ adhesives; new Proform 3690 is 100% solid, single-component, EVA hot melt with 21 CFR 175.105 FDA approval for indirect contact with food; offers a short to moderate open time of 40 to 60 seconds, and excellent adhesion to many substrates including paper, wood, plastics, rubbers and metals, especially steel and aluminum; ideal for general purpose industrial bonding applications, automotive assembly, low-cost potting, flooring construction, and carpet seaming.
