ProPress System™ is a press connection system that crimps copper tubes in seconds for sanitary and heating markets; available in 1st quarter of 2000, the system consists of an electro-hydraulic tool with interchangeable jaws that crimp 1/2- to 2-in. fittings, and a full line of more than 250 skus of specially designed copper fittings in 1/2-in. to 2-in. sizes; offers contractors time and cost savings, as well as the safety of flameless joining; provides a reliable, watertight connection; designed as a replacement for the traditional sweat method of connecting copper tube.
