EASA announces new employees, readies for 2000 convention. The Electrical Apparatus Service Assn. recently announced two new additions to its staff.Cyndi Nyberg has joined the association as technical support specialist. Prior to joining EASA, Nyberg was an applications engineer for U.S. Electrical Motors. She has a civil engineering degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
Craig Whitworth has joined EASA as product development specialist. His duties will include graphic design production for new and existing EASA materials. Prior to joining the association, Whitworth was a graphics manager for the Alton Telegraph, a St. Louis metro-area newspaper. Whitworth has a communications degree from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo.
EASA is also preparing for its 2000 convention, to be held April 2-5 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. With the theme "EASA 2000: Keys to Success," the convention will feature an open floor format, allowing attendees to interact with companies that service the electrical apparatus industry. The show will also feature breakout sessions on technical, sales and management topics.
