True Blue® self-locking patch is evenly applied and achieves consistent vibration resistance; pioneered more than 50 years ago, the method of spraying on blue nylon patch material can achieve precise thread coverage on screws and nuts and allows the patch to be applied to 360° if desired; the self-locking patch compresses when a fastener is tightened, then tries to regain its original shape, establishing a strong counterforce and a vibration-resistant locking force; material retains its locking properties at temperatures up to 250°F; unaffected by alcohol, gasoline, caustic soda, jet fuels, hydraulic fluids or most commercial solvents.
