Fastener groups publish FQA guides.

The Industrial Fasteners Institute and the National Fastener Distributors Assn. recently published An OEM's Guide to the Amended Fastener Quality Act. The guide explains the 1999 amended FQA and provides information to OEMs about the new law and its impact on the buying and selling of fasteners.

IFI and NFDA have also released A Comprehensive Guide to the Amended Fastener Quality Act for fastener manufacturers, distributors and importers. The guide is designed to help companies deal with the requirements of the newly amended law.

The amended FQA goes into effect this month.
