NAW releases new book

The National Assn. of Wholesaler-Distributors recently announced the publication of a new book on streamlining and improving distribution sales. The book, which was to be released in late October, was published in conjunction with NAW's Distribution Research and Education Foundation and was written by David Woodrow of Arthur Andersen.

Titled Maximum Sales Velocity: How to Build a World-Class Sales Organization, the book covers "best practices" in all parts of the sales process, including sales planning and strategy, managing the sales force and the sales process, automating the sales force, and understanding customers and the markets they represent.
