Kyon 4400™ coated-ceramic grade enables cost-effective machining of hardened steels and irons; this PVD TiCN ceramic is engineered for turning hard (48-62 HRc) steels and irons; high wear resistance provides long tool life; inserts offer multiple cutting edges, so Kyon 4400 can be cost-effective alternative to cubic boron nitride (CBN) tools in hand turning; new grade available in both Kendex (clamp-on) and Kenioc (with hole) styles.
