Back to school with BSA
By Industrial Distribution Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 10/1/1999
The Bearing Specialists Assn. is encouraging members and non-members to go "back to school" with industry education through the Certified Bearing Specialist program and its In-House Training Guide.Officially launched earlier this year, the Certified Bearing Specialist program aims for worldwide certification of outside and inside personnel as bearing specialists -- people with excellent knowledge in the selection, application, and analysis of bearings. The CBS program is open to BSA members and non-member industry professionals who have successfully completed BSA's In-House Training Guide, have been actively employed full time in the bearing industry for at least two years, and agree to meet the policies for the use of the CBS designation and logo.
The In-House Training Guide is an individual study course that contains sections on a range of industry topics. For more information on both BSA programs, contact the association at (630) 858-3838.
