Paul R. Kuhn has been named president and chief executive officer of Kaman Corp. Kuhn assumed the new role in August and also became a director of the company. He had been senior vice president, operations, aerospace engine businesses, for Coltec Industries, Inc. Kuhn succeeds Charles Kaman, the founder of Kaman Industrial Technologies and the Kaman Corp., who continues as chairman of the board of directors...Curtis Industries, Inc. appointed Mark D. Knight director, product marketing...Wilmar Industries Inc. announced that Michael D'Adamo, vice president of sales, has resigned. Michael Grebe, chief operating officer, will assume D'Adamo's responsibilities until a successor is found...Airgas Inc. appointed Michael Rohde as president, Airgas Southwest...Premier Farnell plc announced that Chris Emptage, director of the company and managing director, operations at Farnell, and Lawrence Jackson, managing director, commercial at Farnell, are both leaving the group. Three non-executive directors have been appointed to the board including John Roques, Cary Nolan, and Patrick Sullivan... Ellison Machinery Co. has named W. Kent Lorenz president... Power/mation named Randall Vavra account representative... Marmon/Keystone Corp. promoted Fred Parker to branch manager at the Los Angeles service center and Lucy Riemenschneider to export coordinator. The company also named Rich Staryat and Rick Zielinski telemarketing representatives... Cameron & Barkley appointed Kelley Ferguson general manager for its new Cummins Engine Co. agreement and appointed Jill Will director of marketing services and Cheryl Murphy manager of catalog and promotional services... W.W. Grainger has named Edward J. Franczek senior vice president of marketing, and Nancy A. Hobor as vice president of communications and investor relations. Franczek will head up marketing activities for Grainger Industrial Supply's expanding branch-based business. Hobor is responsible for brand communications, internal and external communications, and investor relations.
