Stephanopoulos to headline ISSA meeting.

By Industrial Distribution Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 9/1/1999

Former Clinton administration member George Stephanopoulos will deliver the keynote address at the first-ever ISSA/Interclean-USA '99, October 12-15 in Chicago. The conference and exhibition is sponsored by the International Sanitary Supply Assn. More than 750 exhibitors and 20,000 attendees are expected at the event.

Stephanopoulos replaces Elizabeth Dole, ISSA's originally scheduled keynote speaker. He will deliver his views and insights on the political and business scenes Wednesday, October 13 at 8:30 a.m. in the Arie Crown Theatre at McCormick Center North.

Currently a visiting professor at the School for International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in New York, Stephanopoulos is a regular contributor to Newsweek magazine and ABC news. He was senior advisor for policy and strategy to President Clinton, deputy campaign manager and director of communications for the Clinton/Gore campaign, and executive floor manager to House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt.
