Tra-Bond F114 is transparent, biocompatible adhesive used extensively in assembly and repair of medical devices; most common use is as protective coating or sealant for joints exposed to harsh sterilization conditions; tested for cytotoxicity using MEM elution method according to ISO 10-993 guidelines; all test results were negative; F114 is blush-free material used successfully in manufacture of guide wires, catheters, biophotonics applications, and other applications that require low viscosity, high strength material.
