Fluid power groups focus on change.

The Fluid Power Distributors Assn. and the National Fluid Power Assn. will hold a joint conference at the Westin Crown Center in Kansas City, Mo., October 24-26. Titled "Are Ya Ready for Some ... Changes," the meeting plays off of the Monday Night Football theme.

The conference will address how to expand market opportunities, improve the supplier's understanding of the customer, and increase customer satisfaction. Arthur Andersen's Rick Prohammer will kick off the opening session with a presentation of the newest NAW-DREF study, Facing the Forces of Change: Four Trends Reshaping Wholesale-Distribution. Other speakers include Eli Lustgarten, Todd Youngblood and Stuart Mechlin.
