Nearly 20,000 visit AWS show

Over three days in St. Louis, 18,445 welding professionals visited the America's Center for the 1999 American Welding Society International Welding and Fabricating Exposition.

The 549 exhibitors at this year's Expo came from countries around the world, including China, Israel, Italy and Canada. A variety of new products were unveiled for the first time at the Expo, including new power sources, lasers, safety equipment, and magnetic welding systems.

The 2000 AWS International Welding and Fabricating Exposition and Annual Convention will be held April 25-28 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
