Usher named to STAFDA post

In late April, Catherine Usher joined the Specialty Tools and Fasteners Distributors Assn. as member services director. She replaces Georgia Foley, who was promoted to assistant executive director last September.

Usher will be responsible for developing member services, communications and meeting planning. Prior to joining STAFDA, she was director of seminars for a travel-medicine organization and editor of the group's monthly newsletter. Usher also worked for Kiwanis International as editor and contributing writer of its international magazine. She has a degree in journalism from Ball State University.
