AWS announces scholarship winners.

The 1999 recipients of the "Pioneers of Welding" National and International Scholarships were selected by the American Welding Society's National Education Scholarship Committee. The scholarship program is administered by the AWS Foundation and honors past and present contributors to welding technology. The awards help students complete their undergraduate educational goals.

The recipients are: Mark I. Norfolk, The Ohio State University; William L. Stellwag, Jr., Ferris State University; Joshua A. Dudley, The Ohio State University; William G. Pape, University of Maryland; Matthew M. Robinson, The Ohio State University; and Robert W. Carter, The Ohio State University.
