By Industrial Distribution Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 5/1/1999

The Electrical Apparatus Service Assn. recently named veteran electrical engineer Austin H. Bonnett the association's education and technology consultant.

Bonnett recently retired from U.S. Electrical Motors, a division of Emerson Electric Co., in St. Louis after a 36-year career. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from California State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

EASA has also named Randy Joslin to the position of communications specialist. Joslin will work out of EASA's St. Louis headquarters and his duties include serving as editor of EASA's newsletter, Currents, and projects related to promotions, membership retention, and public relations.

Prior to joining EASA, Joslin worked as a layout design editor for the Suburban Journals of Greater St. Louis, a public relations coordinator for Southwestern Bell Telephone, and a news editor for daily newspapers in Texas. He has a degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
