Applied's Moore named to NAW post

At the recent annual meeting of the National Assn. of Wholesaler Distributors in Washington, J. Michael Moore of Applied Industrial Technologies was elected chairman of the board. Moore is former chairman and CEO of Invetech and is now on Applied's board of directors.

Other new officers elected at the annual meeting include: Byron Potter, president and CEO, Dallas Wholesale Builders Supply, chairman-elect; Alan B. Vidinsky, founder, chairman and CEO, Valin Corp., first vice chairman; Grady Rosier, president and CEO, McLane Co., Inc., second vice chairman; Andre B. Lacy, chairman, president and CEO, LDI Ltd., secretary; Mike McClelland, president and CEO, Do It Best Corp., treasurer; and Charles A. Banks, president and CEO, Ferguson Enterprises, past chairman.
