NAHAD to celebrate 16th anniversary in Monterey

It's not too early to start thinking about NAHAD 2000.Monterey, California will be the site of the association's 16th Annual Meeting & Convention, to be held April 8-12, 2000. The Doubletree Hotel, which is adjacent to the Monterey Conference Center, will be the host resort.
Monterey County is situated on the California coast, south of San Francisco. The Monterey Peninsula juts out into the Pacific Ocean, bordered on the north by Monterey Bay and on the south by Carmel Bay. Touted as one of the most beautiful meetings of land and sea in the world, the peninsula enjoys a unique weather pattern, with temperatures averaging 57 degrees year-round.
Area attractions include Big Sur, the 90-mile stretch of coastline that begins a few miles south of Carmel and ends in San Luis Obispo County at San Simeon. Other key attractions include Cannery Row, California's historic adobes, Fisherman's Wharf, the village of Carmel-by-the Sea, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The area is also home to a host of wineries, golf courses and internationally known restaurants.
So, before you leave Texas Hill Country, be sure to mark your calendar for NAHAD 2000. Convention planners say it is sure to be an event to remember!
