Adding value

The American Supply and Machinery Manufacturer's Assn. and the Industrial Distribution Assn. recently launched the first part of a year-long campaign to promote value-added distribution. The goal is to raise industry awareness of the value added by distributors and manufacturers working together to improve the end user's profitability.A joint task force has produced a Win/Win/Win promotional brochure and has also released a workbook, which serves as a guide to quantifying and documenting the value added by distributors.
