FPDA sponsors educational initiative

The Fluid Power Distributors Assn. is encouraging colleges, universities and technical schools to participate in the 1999 National Fluid Power Design Competition, scheduled for the 1999 spring and fall semesters. The competition offers students the chance to incorporate real-word fluid power design experience into the classroom.

Any post-secondary school in the United States or Canada with a fluid power curriculum may participate by sponsoring individual students and/or teams of students. There will be two preliminary competitions, one in June and one in December of 1999, and a national competition in January 2000. One winner from each of the preliminary competitions will be eligible to enter the national competition.
