American Eagle Awards deadline extended.

American Eagle Awards deadline extended. The American Supply and Machinery Manufacturers' Assn. extended the deadline for entries to its American Eagle Awards program to January 31.In its 25th year, the American Eagle Awards honor members of ASMMA and the Industrial Distribution Assn. who demonstrate to their employees and communities the benefits of the free enterprise system, according to ASMMA.
American Eagle Awards are given to companies in four categories: manufacturers with less than $20 million in annual sales; manufacturers with more than $20 million in sales; distributors with less than $20 million in sales; and distributors with more than $20 million in sales.
Program categories include: community/corporate educational commitment; employee enrichment and involvement; environmental improvement and conservation efforts; and local community involvement. In addition to awards for each individual category, an Overall Excellence award is given to one company and an Individual Award is given to a person who has made an outstanding effort to promote free enterprise on behalf of his or her company.
