NAW hosts '99 annual meeting

NAW hosts '99 annual meeting.The National Assn. of Wholesaler-Distributors will meet next month in Washington, D.C. for its annual meeting. The meeting's theme is "Facing the Forces of Change," reflecting the most recent report of the same name conducted by NAW's Distribution Research and Education Foundation and the Arthur Andersen company.

According to meeting planners, the event will provide "intensive investigation" of the four trends identified in the new "Facing the Forces of Change" report: electronic commerce, strategic alliances, supply chain integration and globalization. In addition, this year's meeting will devote 25 percent more time to business topics than last year's program did. The meeting will be held at The Capital Hilton hotel, Feb. 1-3.
