SmartLock(tm) slide lock and limit switch combines both functions in a single compact package; mechanically holds slide fully retracted while its integral, tandem-actuated, electrical switching element simultaneously verifies the slide position to the machine control; protects mold from costly "crash" damage during cycling and change-out; prevents out-of-time part ejection; has adjustable (11 to 25 lb.) holding force.
