Lincolnshire, Ill.--W.W. Grainger, Inc. is partnering with Requisite Technology, Inc. to make using its online catalog easier and enhance Grainger's other Internet commerce initiatives. The two firms announced a multi-million, multi-year agreement in September. Terms were not disclosed, but Grain-ger was also the major investor in Requisite Technology's recent $7 million venture capital financing, says Requisite chief executive officer Barbara Mowry.
"Because Grainger represents a key resource to so many suppliers and customers, this relationship will also benefit manufacturers and enterprise software vendors whose customers need access to Grainger's online product information," says Mowry.

"Highly accessible product information is critical to our customers," he says. "We are committed to extending our leadership through electronic commerce initiatives that will benefit our customers and suppliers."
Boulder, Colo.-based Requisite Technology is an electronic cataloging technology and content services provider.
