ISEA elects officers, trustees

John T. Ryan III, chairman and CEO of Mine Safety Appliances Co. in Pittsburgh, Pa., has been elected chairman of the board of trustees for the Industrial Safety Equipment Assn. Ryan and four others were elected to association offices at ISEA's recent 65th annual meeting.The other officers include: Roger Gehring, chief operating officer of Christian Dalloz in Reading, Pa., who was elected vice chairman of the board; Robert B. Hurley, president of Fendall Co. in Arlington Heights, Ill., who was elected to a two-year term on the board of trustees; George Kappler, Jr., president and CEO of Kappler Protective Apparel and Fabrics in Guntersville, Ala., who was re-elected to a three-year term; and Walter Stepan, vice chairman, president and CEO of Bacou USA in Smithfield, R.I., who was elected to a three-year term...
