Compression fittings

By Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 11/1/1998

Compression fittings combine economy of a standard compression fitting with reliability of a far more expensive fitting; pre-assembled and require no flaring, soldering or other tubing preparation, even with out-of-round tubing; can be installed quicker than flared or standard tapered sleeve compression fittings; captive sleeve is always oriented for correct installation, and is visible for inspection before and after installation.
