NIBA to make changes
By Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 9/1/1998
The National Industrial Belting Assn.'s board of directors unanimously approved almost 50 recommendations from the group's Strategic Planning Committee over the summer. Key recommendations accepted were: not to change the association's name over the next three years, but to conduct a study to consider if and what a name change should include for the future; implementation of a new educational college scholarship program and expansion of educational offerings to members; participation of affiliate members in the annual conference booth program effective in 1998; and elimination of the special international membership category in keeping with the association's expansion worldwide.
