Power-Lock shaft/hub

By Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 5/1/1998

Power-Lock shaft/hub locking device KE Series features a single-taper design with shallow taper angle that maintains concentricity when the locking bolts are tightened; slit construction of the inner and outer locking rings enables each size of the locks to fit into a wider range of shaft sizes; extremely high clamping forces exerted by the locking bolts fasten hubs securely onto shafts, preventing unwanted and subsequent wear; backlash damage due to torque, load reversals, or impact loads is also prevented; slippage in any direction is avoided by the multi-directional holding power of the locking device.
