Johns named to IAPD post

Johns named to IAPD post. The International Assn. of Plastics Distributors has named Jane Johns director of member programs. In the newly created position, Johns will focus on increasing the value of membership by expanding and tailoring programs to meet an increasing number of member needs. Areas being evaluated for further development include organizational support of member committees, enhancement of benefit programs, collection of industry statistics and information, public relations, educational opportunities and re-sources, and government relations.

Johns brings 11 years of association management experience to IAPD. Most recently, she was director of member services for the American Business Women's Assn. where she managed a variety of member programs and was responsible for retention of the group's 60,000 members...
