STAFDA adds membership category for reps/agents

Effective Jan. 1, the Specialty Tools and Fasteners Distributors Assn. added a membership category for manufacturer reps/agents; this is STAFDA's first change to the bylaws since they were written in 1977.

Reps/agents will pay the same dues as distributor and associate members and receive the same information and services. Like associate members, reps/agents will not be eligible to vote or serve on the board of directors. The two membership requirements for reps/ agents is that 50 percent of their sales are to distributors serving the construction/industrial market and that they represent a minimum of three STAFDA associate members' lines...
