NFDA to celebrate 30th Anniversary

Orlando, Fla.--The National Fastener Distributors Assn. will celebrate its 30th Anniversary when members meet at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando Fla. next month. The meeting will take place April 22-26.

Titled "Mastering the Forces of Change'' key speakers will include Allan Hurst, president of Quorum Ltd., who will lead a workshop and breakout session on the changing role of the salesperson. David Edgerly, former deputy director of technology services at the National Institute for Standards and Technology, will lead discussions on the Fastener Quality Act. Edgerly was hired as an FQA consultant by the association last fall.

A "Black Tie Affair" will highlight the meeting on Friday, April 24. The reception, dinner and dance is in honor of the association's 30th birthday.
