NAHAD Convention on tap for April 4-8

Palm Beach, Fla.--The National Assn. of Hose and Accessories Distributors will meet in Palm Beach next month for its 14th Annual Meeting & Convention. Titled "Traditions in Transition," the meeting will be held at the luxurious Breakers hotel, April 4-8.The meeting will focus on how the core functions and traditions of the hose and accessories business are being affected by transitions in market forces and corporate strategies. The program is designed to provide attendees with concrete examples of successful strategies for the next century. Programs like Michael Marks' "An Industry in Transition'' and Don Beveridge's "Transforming Sales Traditions" will help members better understand the changes taking place in the hose and accessories business. Likewise, consultants Keith Bailey and Karen Leland will give examples of how to improve customer service during their seminar titled "Customer Service Techniques in Transition: Creating Service Partnerships in the Age of Technology."
Other program highlights include the Servicemart Exhibits in which NAHAD's affiliate members display their latest product and service offerings; the NAHAD ResourCenter, providing a showcase of the association's training and education materials; and the Manufacturer and Distributor Contact Table Program in which distributors can meet with 120 manufacturer and affiliate members to talk about a variety of products, services and programs.
