NFDA announces technical training workshops

The National Fastener Distributors Assn. will continue its technical training program started last year with five workshops tentatively scheduled through June. Each workshop will run for two days and include both classroom and hands-on training. Topics to be covered include: torque tension relationship, metric fasteners, screws and threadrolling screws, bolting, washers, nuts, rivets and pins, non-corrosive fasteners, special lines and blueprint reading. Sessions are directed at distribution sales representatives and other employees involved in assisting customers with solving fastener-related problems.Workshops will be held this month in Atlanta, Ga.; March 16-17 in Cleveland, Ohio; April 2-3 in Houston, Tex.; May 4-5 in New York City; and June 16-17 in Chicago.
