Technology seminar on tap for April 13-14

By Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 2/1/1998

Newton, Mass.--As the new millennium ap-proaches, the focus on advances in technology continues to grow. And aside from the Year 2000 problem, the use of new computer hardware and software has great implications for distributors.

That's why Industrial Distribution is sponsoring "Inside Advice on Computer Technology for Distribution," to be held April 13-14 at the Westin Hotel, O'Hare, in Chicago, Ill. The two-day event will feature Dave Witwer of Reserve Motion Control Systems, a distributorship that has successfully implemented a sales automation program.

Other speakers include Grant Howard, a consultant specializing in inventory management systems; Steven Epner, of BSW Consulting, who will address opportunities presented by the Internet; and Rick Bushnell, of Quad II, who will speak on bar coding.

For more information, contact Jennifer Buhl at 1-800-811-0953.
