IMC makes two acquisitions

Orchard Park, N.Y.--International Motion Control, Inc., has acquired Air-Dro Cylinders, Inc. of Decatur, Ala. and SAS Fluid Power, Inc. of Renton and Spokane, Wash. and Portland, Oreg.

Air-Dro Cylinders has joined IMC's Fluid Power Group and SAS Fluid Power has joined the IMC Distribution Group. IMC is an international corporation specializing in engineering solutions for motion control.

Air-Dro Cylinders manufactures hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, specializing in large-bore welded and mill-type cylinders for industrial uses.

"The addition of Air-Dro increases the manufacturing capacity, product and market offerings and distribution networks for the Fluid Power Group," says Robert Trojan, IMC Fluid Power Group president.

SAS Fluid Power is a distributor of fluid power systems and components. The company also provides value-added services such as the design and manufacture of hydraulic power units and electronic control systems.
