Chris Hartmann, former COO of Thomas & Betts, will replace Dick Waterman Jan. 4 as executive vice president of International Electrical Supply Co. (IESC), the parent company of Rexel SA’s operations in the United States, The Electrical Distributor magazine reported.
IESC, which also includes Gexpro (formerly GE Supply), plans to run the two companies separately in the United States.
Waterman will become chairman of the National Assn. of Electrical Distributors in May and will remain with Rexel during his chairmanship before retiring.
Prior to joining Rexel in 2003, Hartmann was president and COO of Affiliated Distributors.
